Club training sessions this week:
Although the days are getting longer we still expect our members to wear light colours and preferably some form of Hi-Viz and/or reflective clothing.
Monday 7pm with Lucy – week nine of the ten week ABC course. Recent graduates and other members are welcome to attend and support.
Tuesday 8:45am with Penny or 7.30pm with Pete – 1km intervals with jog recoveries: these are steady efforts at 10k pace with a slow jog recovery of about 200m. Number of reps will vary on your speed, but overall running time is the same for everyone.
Wednesday 8pm with Terry – Nominally the Marathon Group session but suitable for all. This week it’s a long threshold session. The schedule is 5-7 miles but the format of the session this week will be two longer efforts with a short easy run break in the middle.
Thursday 7pm – Monthly Handicap – starting at the Raven. If you haven’t got a start time, then let Tim know. If you’re able to assist too, then we’d appreciate your help! This year the handicap direction will rotate each month, this week – anti-clockwise.
Saturday 9am – Basingstoke parkrun (War Memorial Park)
Sunday 8am – Group runs
9 March: Annual Awards Evening
16 March: ABC Graduation at Basingstoke parkrun
