Meet at the community centre for a brief talk about what mindfulness is and a short guided meditation. We will run about a mile to the woods and a two mile loop around the fields back to the start.
Please wear extra layers as we will be moving slowly and stopping to talk. We will run small sections at a time and wait for everyone to catch up.
This will be the last mindful running session this year.
Mindful running can help :
1 increase your confidence and deal with negative thoughts
2 give yourself a break from the stress in your life
3 increase your focus on your running which tends to benefit your technique, times and endurance.
4 decrease pre race nerves.
This is about including meditation in your daily life to improve your mental and physical health. Meditation can help your running and vice versa.
